A song of ascent: “I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth” (Ps. 121:1).

The Songs of Ascent (Psalms 120-134) serve as powerful examples of how we can express our worship and love for God through the power of song (gotquestions.org). The pilgrims ascending to Jerusalem for their yearly festivals didn’t know what was before them but they chose to worship as they trusted in God.
