Hi, my name is William Joukhadar. I’m the founder of Dancing on Water… a website platform that gives voice to God, speaking simple, powerful truth to a lost, rebellious world.

I am an ordinary person who believes in an extraordinary God. Without God, I am no better than an accident looking for a new place to happen. God has empowered and commissioned me to be a voice for Him… and to raise-up other voices for Him.

Beryl and I have been married for 53 years—Our marriage continues to be God’s work in progress. We are blessed with two children and six grandchildren.

At present we live at the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

Grace is my wonderful daughter-in-law, married to my son, Ben. She’s a mother of 3 gorgeous children; Marcus, Aliyah, and Raya and is a qualified school teacher as well as a gifted teacher of yoga and meditation.

Grace has been my technical “right hand person” for the Dancing on Water website/blog from the very beginning. She is DOW’s highly talented artistic director and the driving force behind the project to maintain and update the website. Without Grace’s skills, passion, and enthusiasm, DOW wouldn’t be where it is today… alive, thriving, and honouring God!

Nick and I first met in Egypt in late 1999. Since that time we have enjoyed a “special” friendship and close ministry association. I am privileged to have been chosen by God to walk with Nick as a brother and friend when he passed through several times of sad, unfortunate adversities – both naturally occurring and self-inflicted. Praise the Lord that he has rebounded from these by God’s grace and mercies and celebrates a stronger faith in God.

Nick has been involved with Dancing on Water since the very beginning and he is working closely with Grace and the rest of the team to take the DOW website and our presence on the internet to the next level.

Nick battled with Glioblastoma brain cancer. Nick went home to be with the Lord on 23rd July, 2023. We are thankful to God for His safe keeping of Nick until we meet again in paradise.

Lesley is a gift from God to the DOW Team. With the addition of Lesley, DOW will be stronger, better and brighter.

Her vast years of experience and giftedness will help DOW to go further and reach higher in quality of service to our readers, and will honour God.

We are open to learning from God through Lesley’s contributions both as a Guest Author and collaboration with all the team members across all our online presence.
