“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing” (Jn. 15:4-5 NIV).
I trust you with the gift of Me in you.
You don’t trust yourself to carry this gift but it is given never-the-less.
I trust you to carry My heart into situations in which I place you.
I trust you to be My hands to heal and bring comfort to those around you.
I trust you to be My feet and walk where I ask you to go.
I trust you to speak My words to encourage; to build up and not tear down.
I trust you to listen to Me and allow Me to drown out the words thrown at you by the enemy of your soul.
I trust you to trust Me as your Saviour and Deliverer.
Yes, I am faithful and often you are not. I know you and I love you even then. I know that as you continue to chase after Me, seeking Me, you will come through, for I am in you and I will enable you to do and say all that I ask of you.
Trust Me in you as I trust you with Myself.
“On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you” (Jn. 14:20 NIV).
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you ……I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them” (Jn. 17:20-21, 26 NIV).
