No temptation has taken hold of you except what is common to mankind. But God is faithful—He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can handle. But with the temptation He will also provide a way of escape, so you will be able to endure it” (1 Cor. 10:13 TLV).

Beloved, the trials of your faith are not uncommon experiences. These experiences are not customized articles, branded or designed just for you alone. According to the Scriptures, it is common to mankind! Your current experience is perhaps what someone experienced yesterday and might just be waiting for another person to experience tomorrow. You see, you are not alone in the heat of the battle. The magnitude of the attacks, though, may differ from person to person and from place to place, but the source is from one person – the devil!

Were there not four men in the burning furnace prepared by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon? So, you are not alone in this onslaught of the devil. Know assuredly that you can handle it! Don’t give in to the cheap blackmail of your enemies because you have what it takes to defeat your adversaries. Yes, it’s your faith! How do I know? The Scripture says so about you – you are a world defeater!

“… every child of God is able to defeat the world. And we win the victory over the world by means of our faith. Who can defeat the world? Only the person who believes that Jesus is the Son of God” (1 Jn. 5:4-5 GNT).

Who is immune against trials and temptations? I doubt if anyone has escaped. No matter how highly anointed or highly placed in society, every believer will surely experience an attack of his faith. Every person will have a fair share of temptation. It may not happen all of the time, but it will certainly happen. Nevertheless, we are sure of victory because in this fight of faith we know who the winner is even before the start of the fight. You see, we are the winners – the world defeaters!

The colour of our skin and the nation we hail from isn’t a criterion. Whether we have an education or not, this does not hinder the enemy. The devil is no respecter of colour, race, or educational achievements.  He’s out there in search of men and women of faith to wield his deadly weapon on them. But don’t you worry, he won’t triumph over you.

Beloved, I write these few lines to encourage you in your greatest need for escape from your current predicament.  Isn’t it true that you need a break from this untold suffering and pain? Yes, your final breakthrough is here! Sometimes you feel confused into thinking that you are alone. You may ask: “Where have all my friends and family gone?” There is no one to give you hope and courage to live for tomorrow, because it would seem that all hope is gone. But that’s not true. Men may desert you, but God has not abandoned you to your enemies. This little message has come to give you comfort, courage, and strength to move on.

You will bounce back!

Beloved, I boldly declare in Jesus name that you are bouncing back, like an elastic band. I tell you the truth; God will not allow you to be stretched beyond your limits.  He will not allow you to go beyond what you can bear. A miracle is on the way. He will surely make a way for escape.  Your days of mourning are over. Your weeping is turning into joy. You are bouncing back!

A few years will turn into a few months.
A few months will turn into a few weeks.
A few weeks will turn into a few days.
A few days will turn into a few hours.
Now, your hour is here!
Therefore, your joy has come!
