The Word of God is exceedingly powerful, like a hammer breaking rocks. “Does not My word burn like fire?” says the Lord. “Is it not like a mighty hammer that smashes a rock to pieces?” (Jer. 23:29 NLT).

You have not realised or taken hold of the power of My words. You say them, read them, but you do not take hold of their power. My words are a weapon in your hand to bring down the enemy’s plans and purposes in your lives and the lives of your family.

Speak My Name. Speak My words over every situation. There are effects in My Kingdom that you may not see but they are there nevertheless, for My word is powerful and effective.

My word is a hammer and a sword…”For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires” (Heb. 4:12 NLT).

My word does not return void… “My word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it” (Isa. 55:11 NIV). 

These are My promises about My word. So, use My words as a weapon against what the enemy is doing in your life and the lives of your families.

My words created the universe, every living thing in all its diversity… “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made” (Jn. 1:1-3 NIV).

I have given you the gift of My words for you are made in My image. You are one with Me when you give Me your life and so you have within you now the ability and the authority to use My words.

The weapons of your warfare are mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds (2 Cor. 10:4)
