Marian opens up the conversation today with a subject that, as believers, we shouldn’t be afraid to discuss. If you have wrestled with this topic, may you find a peace that truly does go beyond all human understanding; and, as you read what God has to say, you will come to realise that the best is yet to come! Ed.
Death, it comes to us all. We don’t want to think about it or acknowledge it. It affects us when others die, but we don’t see our own demise.
You don’t want to talk about it, but I see your death as clearly as I see your birth. I know the time of each … for every day of your life is written in My book.
“You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” (Psalm 139:16 NLT)
It is a doorway to an extraordinary world if you believe in Me. I came so you would have that life after death in this world. You are here for such a short span of time. (James4:13 -14) In the light of all eternity it is a snapshot. I know it seems a long, hard road at times, but it is short in My economy.
The spirit realm surrounds you if you have eyes to see and ears to hear. It is only a step away at all times. You can step in and out at will, but when you die, you step in and stay. I will meet you there face to face. My arms will be open wide to welcome you home, for this is your forever home.
“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.” (John14:1-3 NLT)
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die.” (John 11:25 NIV)
Do not fear death, nor judgment, for I have taken your punishment for you. There is no more debt to be repaid.
“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.” (John 5:24 NIV)
Remember, I said “It is finished” (John 19:30b NLT). That means the debt is paid in full.
“So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One.” (Romans 8:1TPT)
In My presence there is joy forevermore. There is no more crying and no more pain.
“Therefore, my heart is glad, and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure,
because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” (Psalm 16:11 NIV)
