I am the solid Rock, the solid ground. If you stand on Me you will not fall. Though everything around you may crumble, you will not fall, for you stand on Me and My promises to you.

“From the end of the earth, I call to You, when my heart is overwhelmed and weak; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I [a rock that is too high to reach without Your help].

For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy.”  (Psalms 61:2-3 AMP)

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my saviour; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.” (Psalm 18:2 NLT)

Covenant is a word not understood in this current age, but Covenant is binding, and I have covenanted with you and I will never break it. You are mine and nothing in all creation, on earth or in heaven, can separate you from My love. For you are Mine and I am a jealous God.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39 NIV)

When you said yes to Me, you entered Covenant with Me. Yes, you may have backed away at times and lost your way, but My Covenant, My Word, is forever true and I am true to you through all your ups and downs and detours.

The Rock is that solid place of Covenant. Mountains can be as deep as they are high and I am like that. The foundations are deep. The foundation is the Cross.

If you stand on the completed work of the Cross, you will never fall. It is the rock you can rely on. It is The Rock of Truth that guarantees your eternity with Me. It is your guarantee of My presence with you always. It is your guarantee of sins forgiven and cast into the sea of forgetfulness. (Micah 7:19) It is the solid rock of Covenant.

“After supper he took another cup of wine and said, ‘This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you.’”  (Luke 22:20 NLT)

“But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for He is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises.”  (Hebrews 8:6 NLT)
