Today, Marian Dyer emphasises the free gift of grace that is always available to us; it is never-ending, flowing freely, yet came as an enormous cost to Christ. Ed.
When you are weak, I am strong in you. It is in acknowledging your inability to cope, to manage situations all by yourself, that you’ll find My strength and My grace available to you.
“My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9 AMP)
My grace is a never-ending fountain that is always available to you. But it does come at a price. It was paid for by the blood, by the sacrifice of My son Jesus.
It was not cheap.
The cost was enormous.
The pain excruciating.
So, you don’t have to pay for this grace.
I did.
My Son did.
Therefore, it is not to be taken lightly, but with humility and gratitude.
“Since we are now joined to Christ, we have been given the treasures of redemption by his blood—the total cancellation of our sins—all because of the cascading riches of his grace.”
(Ephesians 1:7 TPT)
This is why I ask you to extend grace to others who don’t deserve it. I extended it to you. Grace upon grace upon grace is poured out to you from this never-ending fountain. There is more than enough to give away to others who don’t deserve it.
Grace abounds and is put on display through those who acknowledge that it is not in their strength, but in Mine, that they accomplish what I have sent them to do. So do not be afraid of weakness in yourself or inability to get things right. Look to Me and I will display My grace and majesty through you.
“This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”
(Hebrews 4:15-16 NLT)
