Discipleship

The Lord commands those who choose to follow Him to “… go and make disciples of all the nations” (Matt. 28:19).

Making disciples can only be achieved by Christ-like disciples, living and serving in partnership with the Holy Spirit. This is the sole reason for “born again” believers being on earth.

There is much to be understood before a follower of Jesus can succeed in this assigned Great Commission. The following resources are the fruit of my “making disciples,” born from my forty-plus years of experience: Growing Up Into His Likeness, The Investigators, Small Groups, and Relational Evangelism.

Growing up into His Likeness

This home-grown discipleship resource covers 14 stand-alone study topics that will help believers, new and old, to ensure their lives are well-grounded in the Christian faith.

Application of discovered biblical truth will result in the believer growing-up into the likeness of Christ. This foundation-level discipleship guide is free to download.

The Investigators

The second home-grown resources series that leads the way for believers in their spiritual growth are “The Investigators” discovery guides of God’s truth. The Investigator Bible guides that are presently available to you at no cost are:

  1. Genesis
  2. Ecclesiastes
  3. Habakkuk
  4. Mark
  5. James
  6. 1 Peter
  7. 2 Peter
  8. 1/2/3 John
  9. Revelation
Small Groups

Small Groups is not a “program” in the life of a healthy church!

Biblically functioning Small Groups/Micro Groups are vital to the life and ministry of a healthy, loving, growing church—complementing and completing the Sunday “large body” worship experience.

The Sunday context of church is quite limiting. This context does not grow believers… cannot identify and develop lay-leaders… cannot transition strangers to become acquaintances… to become friends, and to become family.

Small Groups is where meaningful intimacy can take place. Remember this church growth principle: As numbers increase, intimacy decreases.

Relational Evangelism

The Lord has commissioned His followers to “make disciples” (Matt. 28:19). This is easily said than done! There is much to know before a believer can succeed in this Great Commission. Zeal is not enough. Intelligent understanding and a right strategy is needed if we want our audience to hear, process, and respond favourably to the Good News we have to share about our Lord.

Confrontational evangelism is not a right-fit for our contemporary time… Relational evangelism is!

The who, what, why, where, and how of evangelism is plainly expressed in our “Relational Evangelism” guide. It’s free!

Inspiring Leadership

A biblical definition of a leader is… Someone who leads through service, and serves through leading.

God has given you freedom to choose to live your life as a “follower” or as a “leader.” If you’ve chosen Jesus to be your Life’s Influencer then you have chosen to be one of His developing leaders. Simply stated, a leader is an influencer of others (either good or bad).

The “Inspiring Leadership” guide has been developed to help you rise to the summit of your leadership potential… promising you that life gets better with each step you take towards your summit!
