River of Life: Part II

“Whoever believes in Me, as
Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them”
(Jn. 7:38 NIV)

Sometimes the Rivers of Living Water are blocked by things in your life that need to be dealt with; this is your choice. You know when there is a blockage, so that is when you ask Me, “What is it Lord that blocks the flow?”

Unforgiveness.
The major block is unforgiveness. That is a big one. Ask Me who it is you need to forgive and then make a choice. I will do it for you if you choose to let Me. I know you struggle when there have been deep hurts and pain to your soul, but I am here to take the weight of it all if you let Me. Just hand the whole mess to Me and let Me take the weight from you. Then the flow will begin again.

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you” (Eph. 4:32 NIV).

Distractions.
This one is major today, for the enemy will do anything to keep you from spending time with Me. The thing is they are sometimes good and necessary things. Sometimes not. The key is discerning the spirit of distraction.

Lies of the enemy
Lies of the enemy are another block to that flow from you. Lies about your ability; lies about who you are; lies that make you doubt what I have you doing. These blockages can be removed by My flow if you see them as lies and renounce them and tell them to be gone.

Focus on Me. Focus on who I say you are. Focus on what I say about you. Focus on My word of truth. As these blocks are removed you will know my River of Living Water is flowing again. Joy will return, healing will flow, thankfulness will grow.

Keep your eyes on Me. Keep your eyes focused on those things that are good and kind and things of Heaven. It is when your focus is on the earth that the blockages begin.

“Keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honourable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising Him always” (Phil. 4:8 TPT)
